Down With The MOB...

Our favorite Sweet Sixteener is the new face of Married To The Mob for their fall 09 line. Sure Teyana doesn't have any singles out and she garners a good handful of hate from people [let go of your feelings from her sweet 16 episode people!] but you cannot deny the moves this chick is making. She is almost at every hot party, she gets free clothes, she is making money, her connections are off the charts, and best of all she is the new face of MTTM. I mean I couldn't ask for more honestly.

I am super excited for the fall line of MTTM. I see lots of things that I would love to purchase and probably will much to my mother's displeasure. I remember the first MTTM shirt I bought, she yelled at me and made me return it because I paid $40 for it. Yes maybe that is a bit much but damn it I wanted that shirt and MTTM is a personal line so the prices will be steep. Oh well get it how you can. Hide your purchases from your parents for your own sake. *flash back to the OUTRAGEOUS lips shirt* *audible sigh*. ANYWHO the collection is dubbed Smells Like Teen Spirit [extra kudos for the usage of a Nirvana song, my favorite band] and it contains the usual t-shirts, hoodies, dresses, denim and outwear. It is said to be inspired by living downtown in NYC and having to rush around for school the only way a New Yorker can and such. I would post the lil paragraph I found but I'm not sure where exactly it is from [my job has limited my internet surfing] so I'll leave that alone. Just in time for back to school and as I said before I will be copping whether or not the parental likes it. It's senior year, I have to be decked out in the best and Married To The Mob is nothing less.

She Works Hard For The Money...

Well I started work this week and I have to say I have a whole new respect for those who work the 9 to 5 because that is exactly what I am doing. This just makes me not want to finish school because I cannot take working 8 hours a day. Sure my job is relatively easy but I don't move around. My feet fall asleep constantly and I have to be polite ALLL day. What type of foolishness is that? This job is also taking up most of my time. I get home at 7 everyday, tired as all hell and the only things I can do are eat and fall asleep. Who knew being a secretary for lawyers could be so tiring? Well one thing I have learned is that I am definitely not made to be a secretary for sure. However, the pay I can fxck with. My check is BANANAS! And my summer earning total is friggin CRAZYYY! I am ballin' like my name is Jim Jones *shudder*.

The best part is...I can afford the Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse bag =]

Well off to family bonding time. My lil bro is sick and we are trying to make him feel better with some love.

I Wear A Mean Dark Pair Of Shades...

And you can't see my eyes unless my head is bent, ya dig -_-
Well since I am a soon to be working woman [June 15th folks!] I needs me some new sunglasses or as the Vincys call em 'darkers'. I have this lovely pair of aviators from H&M that are cutting it but these babies...these right here look like they should be sitting atop my nasal cavity and shading my eyes from that damn sun. Now before some of you go crazy and purchase these, please know that certain sunglasses aren't made for all shapes of head. I, myself, need to go check these out because I have a small, narrow head with a bit of cheeks lol. If these don't look good on me I will be heartbroken =/. So Claw Money and Sunglasses Hut are teaming up to create these gems. They come in three colors: purple, pink, and turqouise/light blue. I am fond of all 3 and if I could afford em I shall cop all! They are limited edition so snatch while you can =].

These lovely Pink & Black Yeezys have been released today. I like em a lot. Pink for the girly side and the kicks are clean with the all black. I could see men and women rocking these [only women with swag though because these are a serious man shoe in my opinion]. Would I put my ones and twos in there? Eh I don't know, I have to try em on first but males do take part in these lovelies.

Wii Might As Well...

Another installment in Nike's Nintendo Will Package, which was release recently [I've seen it in popular stores so it isn't exclusive]. The original contained Blazers and Air Force IIs but this time it is a pair of Air Max 95 and Sky Force. The 95s are rather plain, consisting of only white and grey, while the Sky Forces have a hint of color with the orange accents around the edge, check and on the tongue. I've always wondered what my feet would look like in 95s, considering I had my first pair back in 3rd grade [boy did I love those suckers]. I tried looking up a pic for them but the only one I found has a broken link =/. Anywho I might purchase these as a tester...feast your eyes on the pic.

Where Are You Yeezy?

Check out Kanye West performing at SXSW in Austin, Texas along with Common, Kid Cudi, and Fonzworth Bentley. Of course Yeezy put on a great performance but what caught my eye in this pic are the Nike Air Yeezy. Lots of buzz about these kicks for a while now and everyone is anxious for when they are going to make their appearance in March. I am very excited for both the Yeezys and Kanye's Pastelle collection. It's gonna be crazy expensive but I will save up for a shirt lol.

"Prayers of the Air Jordan III (3) True Blue returning this year have been answered in the form of a release slated for August. However, it is rumored that the Air Jordan III will be releasing outside of the packages serie, but this has yet to be confirmed. The True Blue Air Jordan III will consist of the sought after white, cement grey and true blue colorway that has become harder and harder to find over the past few years. Further updates will be reported as soon as news breaks and the status of the True Blue Air Jordan III is clarified. Via NT."

"A new Air Jordan Dub Zero was confirmed for 2009 with images coming at the end of last year, but releasing this year is one other colorway of the sneaker. Dub Zero fans will be happy to find a black and laser blue model on store shelves when it releases later this year in May. This Dub Zero consists of a black base with patent leather and laser blue accents. Also featured on this new make-up is a compliation of sneakers lasered at the sides in white and black. My laptop had some beef with sneakerfiles for some weeks now and I couldn't read anything on that site but now that the beef seemed to have ceased, I can see the light and my, my, my is it beautiful. It's a wrap in august =]. Sneakers galore! I am excited for the Dub Zeros because I got the taupe & black pair when they first came out, last pair on Fulton Ave. to be exact, and although I treated them like crap, I had intended to sell them and someone stole them *insert angry face here*. This pair I would treat like my other babies and I will cherish them because that was $132 stolen from me...I will get it back whoever you are. EN-TEE-WAYS! Thanks for the good news guys, I really hope that AJ7 pack comes along.

These suckers run for $250...one pair, not two, but one pair. Ballin' or not...I'm gonna pass. Nah I'm lying, if I was caking it for real, I'd take a bite of this apple. Actually looking at them upclose, they aren't worth $250, I'd cop if they were $100-$150 on sale. I only posted this because the ad caught my eye and tickled my fancy. Shockingly enough they are both my favorite color [gotta love the purp]. The booties...I have no clue who they are by but something about them says Gucci to me, I don't know why. Anyway, I got them from Japanese Vogue [ugh which is totally slept on in the US lol] and I love them. Sure they may remind you of Dr. Seuss but I love em. I can see the outfit right now lol. The second pair are the Dior Cruise 09 Sandal [props to High Snobette] and they are something fierce let me tell ya. I would sleep in these. Ugh the ultimate birthday shoe...::sigh::.
