Next to Jay-Z, Common, Talib Kweli, Nas, and Eminem, Kanye is my favorite rapper. I love his flow, word play, and attitude. Also before he started rapping, the beats he produced are some of my favorites. And he can dress his ass off. Everyone calls his arrogant and an asshole but damn it I love it. That's what rap is about, letting everyone know you are here and you are going to tell them what it is. Shew I was in my house cheering when he got up on that stage and snatched the mic from Taylor Swift. He said exactly what I was thinking and if I was bold I woulda hit home girl with a few to the left waves and a "PLEASE PASS THE MIC!" ANYWAY!

I'm loving 'Power' and the lyrics are surely powerful.

I have not blogged in 9 days due to work, SAT class, events, and lack of sleep. Every time I open up Blogger in my broswer, I wake up at 4 am with drool on my arm [don't judge me *serious face*]. I even thought that I lost the love for blogging until this week where a thousand things to blog about hit me like a fkn brick. This is one of them. Kid Cudi's new video for 'Make Her Say' featuring hip hop heavy weights Common & Kanye West is finally here!!! I have not watched the entire video due to the fact that I am sneaking in a post from work right now [maybe I should do this more often] but from what I have seen and since I love the song [it's on my blog duh] and sang it along while the video was on mute...I like what I see. Very creative and no bouncing tittays [Drake -_-]. This video is the love of my life right now. Cudi, Common, and Ye in one vid??? YASSSS! LIFE HAS COME FULL CIRCLE! Anyway enjoy this for me while I'm stuck in a cubicle searching for my lost earring =/.

Why Are You So Paranoid?

I've been waiting for this video since forever because I admit it, I am a Kanye West stan lol. I've loved everything this man has done since 2004 and this is no exception. I saw the director's cut of 'Paranoid' weeks ago when it was leaked but here is the finished version. Rihanna is the paranoid chick and even though she bothers me, this fellow islander looks gorgeous and did a good job flinging herself around during the sharp points of the song. I love how the video is like one of those little movies from the 50s. One of the highlights for me was the beginning when the shadowed hands pulled the sheets off of Rihanna. The video gets a lil boring after that point but eh it's still different from shiny cars, big booty chicks, and fake hundred dollar bills.

Where Are You Yeezy?

Check out Kanye West performing at SXSW in Austin, Texas along with Common, Kid Cudi, and Fonzworth Bentley. Of course Yeezy put on a great performance but what caught my eye in this pic are the Nike Air Yeezy. Lots of buzz about these kicks for a while now and everyone is anxious for when they are going to make their appearance in March. I am very excited for both the Yeezys and Kanye's Pastelle collection. It's gonna be crazy expensive but I will save up for a shirt lol.

So a few days ago I peeped the Kanye West X Louis Vuitton kicks and I must say I do like some of them. I am personally fond of the Jasper's because they are high tops and they sorta remind me of Supras in a weird way. The colorways are good and soothing to the eye AND of the three that I have seen, I could see myself in all =] . They look like they would feel soft on your feet [don't ask me why I am thinking these things but damn it they look like it!]. The Don's are alright, I see those mostly of males and the Mr. Hudson I am not fond of at all. The Mr. Hudson's were the first models Ibelieve, well at least those are the ones I remember seeing first. The whole dock shoe craze annoys me to be honest. However...these prices. Ye I know it's Louis V and all but you're gonna have a legion of public school children and fans going broke to buy these shoes. Food will not be eaten, rent will not be paid, blood & bone marrow would be sold just for these shoes because we all know how it goes once it comes to sneakers. And to make matters even worse this is a Kanye West & Louis Vuitton combo...not healthy for the hood economy. But I give them good reviews over all. They are unique and SOOOO much better looking than the hot mess they have in the Stephen Sprouse collection [I hate those space boot looking sneakers, the pumps however I fxcks with]. Yay for Ye.

But those who can afford, enjoy the fruits of Mr. Kanye's labor.

So before I go off on a sneaker loaded blog [I've been slacking man smh] I have to express my excitement over the remix to Ego by Miss Beyonce. Everyone has a reason to pick on her and I honestly don't see it, as much as I HATE this word, people are just haters *shudder*. This song is on my playlist and I listen to it quite often because it's my fav off of I Am Sasha Fierce. Hell it's on my lil music player here but that shxt is on shuffle so it may not play as much as I would like it to. I did a damn blog titled 'Ego' singing the chorus because that is just how much I love the song. But here is the banger right chea...one of my most favorite rappers and quite possibly one of the greatest of all time [you know I am right] KANYE WEST IS ON THE MUDDASKUNTIN' REMIX! *cue angels singing music*. Anything this man is on is sure to be golden and I know Ye can do no wrong. Ugh the search I have been doing to hear this song has been failing miserably. Ye and Bey did a good job of hiding this so I have to wait for the video like everyone else ...-___-. Speaking of the video, the choreo has been leaked on youtube so you can go view it there and no I will not post the video here because I am lazy. Another Reason Why I Still Fxcks With Ye.

This man is beyond creative and I hope he continues to do music. Although I am fond of his fashion side, I just need to see the female Louis kicks on a female in a cute outfit. And I peeped the Louis kicks for men on both his and Cudi's feet and I must say they look kinda large but its' alright. Call him crazy all you want but this man and this video is beyond amazing. 808's was hard to get used to at first but it has grown to become on of my favorites. I do miss College Dropout, Late Resgistration, and Graduation Kanye but I can rock with this...but not for too long. Ye I need some music with samples damn it!!!
