Foot Candy: Step Into These Jays

I'm stepping into my girly phase now where I am loving heels more than anything at the moment but I cannot forget where my shoe obsession began: kicks. Sneakers were my initial choice of shoes because they are comfy and its my culture and apart of my style. I love to take girly outfits and sticking some sneakers in there to make it street. Well I would love to have these Jordans in my closet to jazz up some of my outfits. The Air Jordan Brand is celebrating its 25th anniversary in a classic way. All white is the direction they are heading in, plain but striking and pure. These are just samples and we all know how it goes when it comes to samples. Foot Candy: Nike Dunk Slim Edition

As a Dunk Slim/Skinny owner I can say bravo to Nike for creating the first line of Dunks made specifically for the foot of a female. It's nice to feel like I have small feet for once. Well I have the Nike Cherry Dunk Slim/Skinny in Khaki/Yellow avec les cherries. Here are another pair of Slims that I am digging. I am not one for baby pink but I can get a little girly with the kicks once in a while. I mean these shoes were totally made for me [Dunk Slim...Slim Thugg...get it?!?!?! ahh hush!]. These shoes have been called Skinny and Slim, either way that's all me. Anyway here is what Sneakerfiles has to say about em because I am doing homework and I am too lazy to write about these kicks in my own words:



Nike Sportswear has partnered up with Paule Marrot to release a special Skinny version of the Dunk High. The legendary French textile designer is commissioned to create this Dunk High that has been especialy tailored to fit the feet of women. It accomplishes this by using a less bulky silhouette that is the perfect combination of comfort and style. The Paule Marrot x Nike Sportswear Dunk High Skinny consists of a pink fabric upper complemented by white on the laces, swoosh, tongue and midsole. The rest of the sneaker is composed of pink including the sole and inner lining. Get your pair at Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer and Nike Sportswear at The Montalban starting May 2nd.

Wii Killin Em'

Not the picture I wanted but Mr. Tristan Wilds [aka my actor boo] wore the Nintendo Wii inspired Nike Air Force II to a Wii sponsored event. Just thought it would be nice to feature him and all his flyness.

Where Are You Yeezy?

Check out Kanye West performing at SXSW in Austin, Texas along with Common, Kid Cudi, and Fonzworth Bentley. Of course Yeezy put on a great performance but what caught my eye in this pic are the Nike Air Yeezy. Lots of buzz about these kicks for a while now and everyone is anxious for when they are going to make their appearance in March. I am very excited for both the Yeezys and Kanye's Pastelle collection. It's gonna be crazy expensive but I will save up for a shirt lol.

Alright I am just posting these because:
1) These are the best looking Bapes I've ever seen and I hate Bapes with a passion.
2) These Jordans would look good on guys and certain girls, I don't know if I like them yet.

As for the Jays...I am too lazy to talk about them so:

Pictures of the Air Jordan VI (6) Motorsports recently popped up where the sneakers were placed side by side with its Motorcycle counterpart. The bike is featured in a black and white paint job and cement print. The same can be said for the Air Jordan VI which is modeled after the bike. The majority of the upper consists of white leather and is accompanied by black on the midsole, sole and laces. Cement print is placed on the inner lining and Air Jordan is found on the tongue in red and yellow. A release date has yet to be confirmed, but stay posted for more info.

Foot Candy:: Nike Edition

Blazers are back in 2009 with a vengence.
I know I said I don't buy sneakers anymore but these Blazers are fxcking gorgeous like I can see myself in them. The outfits in my head are endless like fat woman's appetite. To kick shxt off I'll begin with the Nintendo Wii Blazer High:


These Blazers are apart of the Nintendo Wii Package along with Air Force IIs High. These have no affiliation with Ninetendo but they are inspired by the gaming system [pay attention to the details, example: the power sign on the tongue]. They are supposed to be released during the summer but who knows when it comes to sneakers. I like these a lot. They are normal with a hint of unique. The colors are especially pleasing for me seeing as I have a thing for orange. I see a lot of females in these simply because of the colors and I just think they would look better on a woman [men have huge feet lol].

The Jordan packages have been very successful and the success will continue to thrive thanks to the Raging Bull Pack that is set to come out by May 30, 2009. There is no set date but that is the one that they are aiming for. The package contains two pairs of Jordan Vs: a red suede upper pair with a black midsole and a 3M tongue AND a pair of black 3M, black laces, and red details. These seem more like a male oriented package because of the colors and I could see a few guys I knowin them. I don't know if I see chicks in these unless they have really small feet or a certain swag about them.

WAIT! THERE'S MORE...

I personally hate patent leather on sneakers. I think it makes them look so cheap and cheesy. It's the reason I hate Bapes [apart from the fact that they are just plain ugly]. They do come in handy as rain shoes but still I've never owned a pair in my life. Patent leather on Jordans is not my ideal thing [I used the Dub Zeros as rain shoes lol] but these V's look AMAZING! Maybe it is because I have a thing for orange and white but these look really good. The white base has a dark army midsole, an icey sole, a dark cinder tongue, del sol on the insole and Jumpman on the tongue. I would cop honestly. I saw these and my eyes lit up with excitement and I think your's will too. There are no set release date for these but when there is one best believe it will be in my calendar and there will be an alarm on my phone. However, June of this year is the projected month of release.

I don't buy sneakers anymore but those who do, rejoice!

Louis Vuitton the Kanye Way

So a few days ago I peeped the Kanye West X Louis Vuitton kicks and I must say I do like some of them. I am personally fond of the Jasper's because they are high tops and they sorta remind me of Supras in a weird way. The colorways are good and soothing to the eye AND of the three that I have seen, I could see myself in all =] . They look like they would feel soft on your feet [don't ask me why I am thinking these things but damn it they look like it!]. The Don's are alright, I see those mostly of males and the Mr. Hudson I am not fond of at all. The Mr. Hudson's were the first models Ibelieve, well at least those are the ones I remember seeing first. The whole dock shoe craze annoys me to be honest. However...these prices. Ye I know it's Louis V and all but you're gonna have a legion of public school children and fans going broke to buy these shoes. Food will not be eaten, rent will not be paid, blood & bone marrow would be sold just for these shoes because we all know how it goes once it comes to sneakers. And to make matters even worse this is a Kanye West & Louis Vuitton combo...not healthy for the hood economy. But I give them good reviews over all. They are unique and SOOOO much better looking than the hot mess they have in the Stephen Sprouse collection [I hate those space boot looking sneakers, the pumps however I fxcks with]. Yay for Ye.

But those who can afford, enjoy the fruits of Mr. Kanye's labor.

Foot Candy:: Nike Edition

Another addition to the Nike Pucci Pack.
Nike Womens Outbreak Highs are included along with the same Pucci design and gray & lime green sole accents. I, personally, am not fond of these except for two pairs that I have seen in the past but whatever floats your boat kiddos.

AND...

My first pair of all white sneakers were white Uptowns in fifth grade. I definitely thought I was hot shxt because the song "Air Forces Ones" was big at the time and I was the only one in clean ups. Actually, let me rephrase that...I knew I was hot shxt 'cause lil slim here was the only ones rocking clean, white ups and everyone was on the jealous tip, ya dig? [lmfao that phrase cracks me up all the time]. EN-TEE-WAYS! Nike is releasing an all white Blazer High with a bit of cement print above the midsole and on the heel. These are very clean and sent me back to my fifth grade days of all white kicks. I am not one for plain sneakers unless they are keds but I can definitely rock with these. These are perfect for the warmer months and I can see come cute outfits being built around these. They are also perfect for customizing because they are a blank slate. Be greedy and cop them now at vault and Nike retailers.

LADIES!!! The sneaker gods are in our favor. Inspired by the whimsicle and geometrical patterns of Italian designer, Emilio Pucci [if you don't know him you better hit that google loserface], Nike is coming out with a Pucci Package for the females [JOYYY!]. The pack consists of Vandal Low and Court Force High with the Pucci inspired pattern and white leather upper. On the Court Forces there is robin's egg blue, if you will, patten leather, a gold metallic check, and white laces. The Vandals have robin's egg blue laces and a gray leather check. I am beyond excited for this pack...well for the Court Forces at least because in no way am I a fan of Vandals [they crease too easy]. The courts look amazing and I can see them on my feet. They look like a spring season type sneaker so I am loving them at the moment. They are available on kix-files.com. They are $100, I am itching to snatch out my hello kitty debit card...*musttt resisttt urgee to touch plasticccc*

"Prayers of the Air Jordan III (3) True Blue returning this year have been answered in the form of a release slated for August. However, it is rumored that the Air Jordan III will be releasing outside of the packages serie, but this has yet to be confirmed. The True Blue Air Jordan III will consist of the sought after white, cement grey and true blue colorway that has become harder and harder to find over the past few years. Further updates will be reported as soon as news breaks and the status of the True Blue Air Jordan III is clarified. Via NT."

"A new Air Jordan Dub Zero was confirmed for 2009 with images coming at the end of last year, but releasing this year is one other colorway of the sneaker. Dub Zero fans will be happy to find a black and laser blue model on store shelves when it releases later this year in May. My laptop had some beef with sneakerfiles for some weeks now and I couldn't read anything on that site but now that the beef seemed to have ceased, I can see the light and my, my, my is it beautiful. It's a wrap in august =]. Sneakers galore! I am excited for the Dub Zeros because I got the taupe & black pair when they first came out, last pair on Fulton Ave. to be exact, and although I treated them like crap, I had intended to sell them and someone stole them *insert angry face here*. This pair I would treat like my other babies and I will cherish them because that was $132 stolen from me...I will get it back whoever you are. EN-TEE-WAYS!
