Niggatry At It's Finest: The I-Hop Adventure

Part I

Today is National Pancake Day and I-Hop is/was giving out free pancakes. Of course there was a catch and you had to buy a drink and make a donation. My friends and I made two trips today, once in the morning and then in the evening, because we love the word free. The first trip was unsuccessful in the pancake department but however, it was very successful in the pedophile section. This guy, who claimed to be a former recruiter for LSU [he wasn't lying, he knew our dean and it was confirmed], decided to strike up a conversation with my friend and I. This man looked sus as hell and asked us if we were cutting school...mind you there are a billion public school kids in the damn I-Hop so obviously not in school while we had a free. This I-Hop was so packed it was hard to move so we were basically cornered by this man. I panic when I am cornered by grown ass scary men so I started having brain vomit. Every question he asked, my dumbass went and answered. I probably woulda gave him my social security number but I don't remember that shxt *phew*. EN-TEE-WHO! He asks if he could sit and eat his pancakes with us...*blink* *blink* *side eye*. Grown ass man...young teenage girls. Now if that don't sound like some R. Kelly type shxt I don't know what does. That's when my sense kicked in and I stumbled and I'm like "uhh I don't know, we're not staying". Do you know this fool insisted on sitting with us??? The I-Hop lady asked us if we were being served and we were like yes and told her it was 4 at our table [which it was], this bafoon started yelling "NO IT'S 5!" Negro no it is not! Are you delusional?!?!?! We then made our way through the crowd and hid in the bathroom, panicking like no other. My friend calls up the headmaster because the guy gave us his business card with a little message for our dean. We hid behind the wall until it is almost time for class and eventually one of my other friends goes and cancels the order. Coming out, I stumble upon my old prep counselor. She told us that the man had been talking to every young high school looking girl alll morning and if she could she would have gotten a picture of him with her Iphone. We chat for a little then leave scared as hell. Scared as we were, we realized the man was in front of us and we followed him to his car. I got a pic of his car and the license just in case [you can never be too sure]. He was so fkn sus it was ridiculous. He looked like everywhere he went Chris Hansen from To Catch a Predator needed to walk out and greet his suspect ass. Smh.

I-Hop Part II

I will not speak of the fools from my school who pissed me off with their stupid ass attitudes *side eye*, however part II is about these hoodrat bxtches who skipped out on their bill after I-Hop done gave them free pancakes. Smh. I was unaware that their friends were still there and my friend and I glady had a convo with the manager about what they looked like. So we are enjoying the pancakes, sippin' on our drinking and having fun convo for a good hour or so until I look out the window and see the group of rat skeezers congregating outside. They are making a scene and then the one with the Malibu Barbie weave starts pointing at us in this creepy ass fashion. I get scared as fxck because I can't fight, well at least I don't know if I can and my piercing was fresh so I wasn't trying to get knocked in the face. Then I alert the others to look and Queda gets tight and starts gesturing at the girl. She gets up and points to herself and the girl is like 'Yeah you!'. I am praising the lord because I swore up and down I was about to get my ass whooped. The girl obviously did not know how tall Queda is because when she got up they all scattered like project roaches. Homegirl was outside talking and gesturing like she was really gonna fight Queda. Smh silly hoes these days.

Well that was the first time I went to I-Hop as a teen and very last time...until free pancake day returns again.

Well Hot Damn

I am in a french magazine.
I just don't know which one.
Last year, during the summer, this lady ran up to me, took my pic and said she was going to use it for a section about street wear in this french mag.
I was flattered because I didn't even try to look cute that day but then again I never try, it just happens. It's a natural thing, what can I say? Confidence much? lol.
Well my dumbass didn't think to ask the lady what the name of the magazine was.
I thought I heard her say it but I was mistaken...I think.
Oh well...one day =/

*edit* the lady ran up to me and my male twin Kamau Carter [he feels the need to be acknowledged because he had his pic taken with me] lol. We both looked effortlessly fresh that day =]
happy?

Hey Mike asked, He gets an answer.

My friend asked me why I don't blog about music since I am always up on new shxt.
Well answer for that is...
I am stingy.
Plain and simple.
I find something that I love and I don't share it because I don't want everyone and they momma on my ish.
I share with 3 close friends and that is it. [that's a lie because I heard about Chester French (N.E.R.D concert) and LMFAO (being nosey on M.I.A's myspace) a while ago and I never shared]
It is up to you to go music hunting, I do my shxt by my lonesome.
With that said.
Kanye has a new song that was leaked so he decided to just put it out there [check his blog for that, I read that at like 2 am yesterday].
And everybody is up on my boo #5 Aubrey Graham aka Drake aka Drizzy Drake aka Jimmy from Degrassi already so no intro is needed for him. Allhiphop.com gives him mad props and I was a little skeptical at first but Drake is sick. His flow is something special. Bravo for him making moves from actor to rapper. Keeping that paper flow and talent in check, I am not mad at all. GONE HEAD BABY! lol. He is working with the best in the business and I am glad for him. However, his success has proven the reason why I don't share music. EVERYBODY AND THEY MOMMA are tooting Drake. If I heard one of his songs or see a line from one of his songs on myspace one more cotton picking time...I'm gonna shriek.
*hits play on the mixtape*

Foot Candy:: Nike Edition

Another addition to the Nike Pucci Pack.
Nike Womens Outbreak Highs are included along with the same Pucci design and gray & lime green sole accents. I, personally, am not fond of these except for two pairs that I have seen in the past but whatever floats your boat kiddos.

AND...

My first pair of all white sneakers were white Uptowns in fifth grade. I definitely thought I was hot shxt because the song "Air Forces Ones" was big at the time and I was the only one in clean ups. Actually, let me rephrase that...I knew I was hot shxt 'cause lil slim here was the only ones rocking clean, white ups and everyone was on the jealous tip, ya dig? [lmfao that phrase cracks me up all the time]. EN-TEE-WAYS! Nike is releasing an all white Blazer High with a bit of cement print above the midsole and on the heel. These are very clean and sent me back to my fifth grade days of all white kicks. I am not one for plain sneakers unless they are keds but I can definitely rock with these. These are perfect for the warmer months and I can see come cute outfits being built around these. They are also perfect for customizing because they are a blank slate. Be greedy and cop them now at vault and Nike retailers.

[thanks vault]

I Like To Play With The Camera...

I don't know.
I took them.
I like them.
If you don't...suck it because you don't matter =].
Nah just kidding.
I accept all forms of "advice" if you will.
But I think I like photography...

lml = love my life!

We might be moving soon.
If this thing goes through we will be on our way.
And this time I know it's true because I saw the papers.
Pray for me =]

Taste The Rainbow.

It is no secret that I love guys of all races as long as they are cute, intelligent, and hilarious. However, there is another plus to them.

Here I present to you the joys of a white guy and an asian guy...

And folks laugh when I say I like white and asian guys [the Japanese & Koreans can get it!].
You heifers don't know what you're missing lol.
Thanks roofie.

Another Reason Why I Still Fxcks With Ye.

This man is beyond creative and I hope he continues to do music. Although I am fond of his fashion side, I just need to see the female Louis kicks on a female in a cute outfit. And I peeped the Louis kicks for men on both his and Cudi's feet and I must say they look kinda large but its' alright. Call him crazy all you want but this man and this video is beyond amazing. 808's was hard to get used to at first but it has grown to become on of my favorites. I do miss College Dropout, Late Resgistration, and Graduation Kanye but I can rock with this...but not for too long. Ye I need some music with samples damn it!!! Anyway, here is the Welcome To Heartbreak video. This is not the official second single, Amazing featuring Young Jeezy is but enjoy the fkn vid nonetheless...

Foot Candy:: Nike Edition

LADIES!!! The sneaker gods are in our favor. Inspired by the whimsicle and geometrical patterns of Italian designer, Emilio Pucci [if you don't know him you better hit that google loserface], Nike is coming out with a Pucci Package for the females [JOYYY!]. The pack consists of Vandal Low and Court Force High with the Pucci inspired pattern and white leather upper. On the Court Forces there is robin's egg blue, if you will, patten leather, a gold metallic check, and white laces. The Vandals have robin's egg blue laces and a gray leather check. I am beyond excited for this pack...well for the Court Forces at least because in no way am I a fan of Vandals [they crease too easy]. The courts look amazing and I can see them on my feet. They look like a spring season type sneaker so I am loving them at the moment. They are available on kix-files.com. They are $100, I am itching to snatch out my hello kitty debit card...*musttt resisttt urgee to touch plasticccc*

Foot Candy:: Jays Edition

Just another color of the Dub Zeros.

I am excited for these.

They remind me of my stolen pair =/

Black History Month Is A Serious MUST

Well on my return from D.C I was greeted with the protest of The New York Post. These fools printed a very much racist cartoon mocking the 200 lbs. monkey attack and Obama & the stimulus bill. I was told that they potrayed Obama as the monkey and from then I knew that it was a definite problem. When I finally saw the cartoon and the sorry ass apology that was released I was outraged. That was the worst apology I have ever encountered in my life. "Sometimes a cartoon is just a cartoon"...no it isn't. Not when a monkey is being used to represent someone and a BLACK person at that, where in America a monkey or ape has been used to describe a black male. Read Native Son, hell look at all the caricatures. "The monkey represented the stimulus bill"...but the cop saying "they are going to have to find someone else to write that stimulus bill" doesn't make it seem as if the monkey was intended to be Obama? Whatever. I don't accept that bullshxt of an excuse. Shxt like this shows that there is still a serious need for Black History month because people do still think in this backwards way even though we have a black president in office. There are towns where people are not getting the most positive picture of black folks and they need black history month to show them that we are more than just a bunch of thugs and whores on BET, MTV, and ,VH1. We need black history month to counter act tom foolery like this. We need black history to reflect on not only the good but the bad that people try to hide. From the golliwogs to the moron rapper who thanks the slave masters for bringing us to America to get this money and ice [yes Soulja Boy I am calling your bitch ass out], we need to counter act those things. For if we do not know our past, how the hell are we going to know our future?

Once again this has been the most uneventful black history month in my opinion and with 6 days left it needs a spark.

Haterazzi is a fxcking genius.

I said I would leave this topic alone but I lied so shut up.
I have been subscribed to Haterazzi on youtube since I saw his first video on Youknowyoudeadazzwrong.com. His first video was about the whole Chris and Rihanna fiasco and damn it that shxt had me rollin. It was funny as hell so...instead of being stingy and hiding funny ass vids, I will share this one...

LMFAO!
"You need to stop fxcking with them horses and get yourself some hair"
"All day what it do biatch"
and then "Disturbia" at the end set me off.

NOW his second vid on the Chrihanna fiasco is funny in the beginning but he has a good point that I do agree with. Maybe I am being biased because I am a Chris Brown fan but you be the judge.

LMMFAO @ "shut yo dusty ass up", "shut yo stanking ass up", "shut yo ass up with yo kanekalon weave", "Young, dumb, and full of cum" and of course "all day what it do biatch".

BUT damn it he has a good point, Chris Brown is a victim too but damn that picture did you in babe. I still ride for him but that pic hit me hard.

Oh Washington...

Just came back from a college trip to DC with my school and as shocking as it is, I enjoyed it a lot. The hotel was amazing [the bed was devine]. I loved Georgetown [the college and the town] and I loved Howard. I am considering both Georgetown and Howard but the only problem is that Georgetown is dumb expensive and we already know my finances are not up to par. Howard was amazing. As soon as I got off the bus I began to smile instantly. The area may not be the best but they school campus and the school itself is wonderful. They offer so much to the students and are very much involved in the community. They have greek life, an amazing atmosphere, and well damn everything was perfect. They have everything that I look for in a school and I would really consider going there except for the fact that DC has crazy hiv/aids rates but then again stds are everywhere. Georgetown looked like the college you see on the brochure. They have great school spirit [The Hoyas duh!] and the campus is nice except for all of those hills and shxt. We didn't have a formal tour so we asked a female student what it was like for her and she gave rave reviews. However, George Washington was horrible. Boring and empty. No diversity. Never in my life will I want to go there.

Aside from the college stuff I just had a lot of genuine fun with my peeps =]

For The Love.

Damn it Chris! The fxck?!?!?!? Ugh so I know everybody and they momma [gotta love ebonics] have seen the picture of poor Rihanna. I was on a college trip [will post that later] in the nation's capital aka the home of the oh so amazing one for 3 days with no internet or good tv so I had no idea as to what was going on. On our way back to NYC, we stopped at a truck stop for a bathroom and snack break. I saw magazines with Rihanna and I decided to take a gander at them because I must admit, she looked beautiful. THEN I looked down and saw the front page of the New York Post. I instantly broke out in hives on my neck. That picture that TMZ obtained was horrific. In my heart I hoped that her injuries weren't so horrible but she looked soo bad. I could tell that she was crying and that broke my heart seriously. Her lips is what hit me the most. They were swollen, raw, and had dried blood on the side. I asked for a picture to be release but I didn't expect this. Now I kinda wish TMZ didn't get the pic. I called all my classmates to see and they were all in disbelief. We all began to talk about why the hell would he beat her up like that. We all think maybe the herpes thing was true or that she seriously provoked him or that it is true what they say that Rihanna was a jealous, clingy, and possessive girlfriend who hit him a couple times. I don't know but the one thing I found myself doing was defending Chris and then I looked at my friend Zander and I said "I have no clue why I am trying to defend him". I mean I do know why and it is because I am a serious fan of his and I really cannot picture him doing something of this nature but still I cannot support someone who did something so disgusting. Literally my faith and hope in Chris Brown fell because I thought maybe he could rise from the ashes but after seeing this photo I don't think his career will be the same. Rihanna's would be shifted also, she may still be on top or she will wither away. Either way this incident has left a stain on them both. Chris had/has the potential to be one of the greatest entertainers. Only 2 albums, one more on the way and from the leaked songs that I have heard, they sounded really good. I love "Glow In The Dark" but now I don't think I will ever have the pleasure of hearing it on the radio because I don't know how far this will go. I feel sorry for Rihanna because what happened was unacceptable and deplorable but I am more disappointed in Chris because he royally fxcked himself up. My dude could have done the normal "Ima shake the shxt outta u bish!" but no he went and Mike Tysoned her so it's a wrap. I have no opinion on this topic anymore more than I'd like to know what exactly happened from both sides because I honestly do not understand why he would do such a thing. I guess everyone isn't as they seem...never trust a tall boy with a smile [never trust a big butt and a smileee- had a bbd moment lol].

Oh and I saw recent pics of Rihanna, she healed up nicely and quickly.
Chris, however, is in hiding and I think he should remain so until his court date because he will get snuffed by someone lol.
I'll still be a fan no matter what but I think I'm gonna chill on Breezy for a while outta respect for Rihanna and domestic violence victims =/
If it wasn't Rihanna that he messed with, no one would really care but they both were r&b royalty and people that damn near everyone admired so thats just makes everything harder.

Whatever Is On Facebook, Stays On Facebook...

A significant, yet stealthy, change to social networking site Facebook's Terms of Service (TOS) agreement has some of the Web site's users up in arms, reports FOXNews. As do many sites of its ilk, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg stipulated in the original TOS that the site was entitled to use patrons' information or images, so long as their profiles remained on the site. Now, however, through the TOS, the site is laying claim to a "perpetual license," meaning that a dissatisfied -- or, for that matter, deceased -- Facebook user would always have a presence on the site, whether desired or not. Some users -- like blogger Ed Champion -- have refused to continue their involvement with Facebook, while celebrity blogger (and celebrity, himself) Perez Hilton has called for a boycott. Of course, whether or not Champion and Hilton themselves are involved with the Web site, their old wall postings and images would be involved, remaining on the site for perpetuity. In the new policy's defense, Zuckerberg wrote in his blog that, without this new stipulation, old messages or images would be lost from a current user's profile as soon as a former user resigned from the site. Although he didn't say so, we could imagine that letting such data escape into the stratosphere could not only be a source of irritation for users, but of legal trouble for the site, itself. Just think: If somebody had sent threatening or blackmailing messages via Facebook, only to later delete their profile (and thus evidence of their offense), where would that leave the victim? Probably, to their detriment, without much grounds for their intimidation case, or, to Facebook's detriment, with a lawsuit against the site in hand. [From: FOXNews] Via AOL.

As a Facebook user myself, I am not too happy about this. I do not appreciate them having damn near full ownership of my photos. They basically have the right to do whatever they want with my information. This alone makes me want to deactivate my facebook account. I have nothing to hide, I'm not drinking or smoking on facebook but it is the principle of it. And then when I get rid of my account, my information could be released to the open and anyone can get their hands on it. They tried to defend it and say that nothing has really changed but what they need to realize is that they have ownership of my information for life, that's not something that people want. I refuse. Big Brother is watching us.

Um right quick...

Yo is it me or has this been the most unblack black history month ever?
i spoke to asha about this earlier and i for one appreciated those crappy ass black history 365 mcdonald's commercials. Just because Obama is in office means we have to forget. Living in America, there will always be racism and with such an ugly past, we know it will never go away.

i'll elborate later.

Get Me So Excited.

The sneakerhead in me passed out when she read the following via Sneakerfiles:

ONE...

"Prayers of the Air Jordan III (3) True Blue returning this year have been answered in the form of a release slated for August. However, it is rumored that the Air Jordan III will be releasing outside of the packages serie, but this has yet to be confirmed. The True Blue Air Jordan III will consist of the sought after white, cement grey and true blue colorway that has become harder and harder to find over the past few years. Further updates will be reported as soon as news breaks and the status of the True Blue Air Jordan III is clarified. Via NT."

TWO...

"A new Air Jordan Dub Zero was confirmed for 2009 with images coming at the end of last year, but releasing this year is one other colorway of the sneaker. Dub Zero fans will be happy to find a black and laser blue model on store shelves when it releases later this year in May. This Dub Zero consists of a black base with patent leather and laser blue accents. Also featured on this new make-up is a compliation of sneakers lasered at the sides in white and black. Look for this release on May 23rd retailing at $160, but you can get your pair a few months early at Marquee Sole.

Jordan Dub Zero (Limited Release)

Release Date: 05/23/2009

Style Number: 311046-001

Colorway: Black/Laser Blue

Retail Price: $160.00"

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST...

"The Air Jordan VII (7) is definitely one of the most popular Air Jordan models up to date and the 2 colorways shown above will surely remind you of ones that have previously released. We are now seeing pictures that suggest the AJ7 will be receiving the “pack” treatment in 2009 that has become famous because of the Air Jordan Countdown Packs which released throughout the last year. In the upcoming months, Jordan Brand will be releasing “Sixty Plus” Packs commemorating the numerous times Michael Jordan scored 60 or more points in a single game. This pack is made up of two pairs of Air Jordan 7s. One pair is inspired by the “Raptor” Air Jordan 7 (VII) while the the other pair takes inspiration from the Orlando Magic, the team MJ scored 64 points against in 1993. You can expect for this pack to release in August of 2009, but be sure to stay tuned for updates and new pictures. Via NT."

My laptop had some beef with sneakerfiles for some weeks now and I couldn't read anything on that site but now that the beef seemed to have ceased, I can see the light and my, my, my is it beautiful. It's a wrap in august =]. Sneakers galore! I am excited for the Dub Zeros because I got the taupe & black pair when they first came out, last pair on Fulton Ave. to be exact, and although I treated them like crap, I had intended to sell them and someone stole them *insert angry face here*. This pair I would treat like my other babies and I will cherish them because that was $132 stolen from me...I will get it back whoever you are. EN-TEE-WAYS! Thanks for the good news guys, I really hope that AJ7 pack comes along.

Black is Always Beautiful

“Some casting sheets actually said ‘No Blacks,”’ the 19-year-old model Shawn Sutton was saying on Friday, backstage at the Duckie Brown show in the Bryant Park tent. He was referring to the model castings at the recent men’s wear shows in Milan.
“It was pretty brutal and, yeah, it was racist,” he added. “But things opened up a lot by Paris, so I paid it no mind.”
Mr. Sutton was one of 24 models in a show whose casting, for once, reflected some ethnic diversity. It is early days in New York’s Fashion Week, but already there are signs that the recent industry habits of exclusion may be undergoing a shift. Call it the Obama effect, if you will.
“Oh, it’s totally about Obama,” said Marcus Lloyd, a 22-year-old African American model from Dallas. “I remember my agent was like, ‘If Obama does become president, there’s going to be a lot more work for you guys.”’
Duckie Brown may not be the most representative of the 200 shows scheduled for the next week, since the label’s designers, Steven Cox and Daniel Silver, have always taken pleasure in showcasing what the writer Grace Paley once termed New York’s “gorgeous chromatic dispersion.” But why not take this as a signal of change?
One welcome effect — should that change occur and should fashion magazines and advertising agencies and designers suddenly decide to remove the Whites Only sign — would be a boost in employment for all sorts of homegrown talent.
Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg likes to point out that the fashion business supports more than 175,000 jobs in the city and generates some $10 billion in wages. Presumably some of those jobs go to people from the Mysterious Outer Boroughs, although you’d never guess it based on the stuff that sometimes emerges from the mouths of fashion folk.
Was the designer who recently told me she could never quite figure out where Queens is kidding? She was not. “I know it’s out there somewhere,” she said. It must be, she added. It says Queens right there on the taxi map.
Mr. Sutton grew up in a neighborhood on the border of Brooklyn and Queens, a place where the prospect of finding work in the modeling business — where a successful 19-year-old can pull down more in a good year than most mid-career doctors do— never even came up. And it never would have if an agent hadn’t spotted the handsome young man, who is half African American and half Portuguese, hauling bags of ice on his catering job.
The same is true of Courtney Taylor, 20, who recently starred in a Dior Homme campaign, and of Dominique Hollington, a 19-year-old from the Grant Houses housing projects in Harlem, who was scouted while buying a pair of Nike Sharks at a store on 125th Street.
“I never ever thought I’d be in Milan and Paris,” remarked Mr. Taylor, who had previously had in mind a basketball career that “didn’t work out.”
Growing up in the Grant Houses, Mr. Hollington said, “I didn’t think much about modeling.” He had never heard of Versace or Jean Paul Gaultier or Giuliano Fujiwara, to name three runway shows for which he was recently in Europe. For that matter, it had not seemed to him very likely that his work life would include regular trips to Italy and France.
“Fashion shows have basically been Caucasian for a while,” Mr. Sutton said. “I feel like that’s going to change now.” He added: “I’m not really a black model, I’m a model. I just love putting on the clothes and jumping into the character.”
As Mr. Sutton spoke, a producer called, “First looks” and then herded all the models toward the backstage catwalk entrance. Setting down his plastic glass of Prosecco — Shhhh! Under-age drinking backstage at a fashion show? Shock-horror!— Mr. Sutton looked around at a lineup that was black and Asian and white and Latino and Native American in something like the proportions one sees every day on the subway, yet almost never at fashion shows.
“Maybe having a black president will make the fashion industry be a little bit more about reality” he said.

Don't Step on My Kicks...

It is a known fact that I love sneakers. I am a broke ass sneakerhead and every time I get money you best believe I go and get some kicks. That is why I am on sneaker ban [mother said no more sneakers until college =/ ]. I take great pride in my shoes whether they are sneakers or heels but I dare anyone to step on my sneakers. I don't give a flying phuck who you are, do not step on my shoes [period]. I see that as a sign of disrespect if you do it on purpose. Once someone took it upon his or herself to step on my sneakers after saying "oh them shits is mad old". Okay so I've had the muthafxckers since 9th grade, you've been wearing the same ones since 9th grade so what is your excuse? I keep my kicks clean, no one can ever tell my my sneakers are dirty. My chem teacher in 10th grade even told my mom during parent-teacher conference that she has never seen a student, a female at that, take such pride in her shoes and keeping them clean after seeing me rush into class with paper towel drying my Jordans after some fool decided to splash them with dirt ass water *side eye*. EITHER WAY don't fxcking insult my shoes and then take your nasty little clunky ass pavement stompers and put them on my kicks AFTER I got the suede perfectly clean. My hands balled up into fists, my heart stopped, my temperature rose...I was ready to toss this bitch like a cookie. But the Lord above held me back from Hulk smashing this baboon and I left the situation 'cause it was gonna get ugly on some Do The Right Thing "I'll fxck you up quick two times, who told you to step on my sneakers!?!?" ish. Call me superficial if you want to but everyone has their niche and mine are sneakers =].

Now as I was browsing the Bloomingdales shoe section, I realized that they had the cute Barrett Coach sneakers that everyone has seen and paid $88 dollars for but why didn't they have those other Nike-inspired hood looking Coach sneakers? I think they send those to the black areas because they want to reach out to the "urban youth". It is nice to see them making an effort because there are a couple fashion houses that don't want to have anything to do with us but why couldn't they be in Bloomingdales also? I don't know, maybe I was reading too much into this at the time but it was just a thought. I love Coach Barretts and the pink Nanettes [nike-inspired hood sneakers] are pretty nice I guess. The others however do not tickle my fancy.
The Nanette Sneaker

Where Are You Yeezy?

I love Kanye West more that other folks, trust that. I have been a fan of that man since I the moment I first saw the 'Through The Wire' video on 106 & Park in 6th grade. I have every album and I really do believe that he is one of the greatest rappers in history. When he came out, his flow was different than the other rappers at the time. I felt like Kanye was really talking to me and I undertstood what he was saying. Everything he has done I have supported him and he really has changed the face of hip hop. When Kanye came out everyone started to dress like him and branch out to other parts of hip hop. So now that he has taken his music into another realm people are leaving him out to dry. He is doing great things, one of which is collaborating with Louis Vuitton [who btw has the most amazing purses I have ever seen on the market right now, for the first time I want a louis]. I have seen the sneakers that he created for both men and womena and I am more fond of the female version. I admit I called Kanye crazy when I saw the video for 'Love Lockdown' but I like crazy Kanye I just wish that man would get rid of the mullet. I usually see white folk with mullets and even they should not rock one. Anyone with a mullet deserves to get shot so please for my sake and your's Kanye...take a razor to that thing.

Oh and I have tried to listen to 808s & Heartbreak at night...yeah 'Street Lights' scares the hell out of me. But 'Say You Will" has been my favorite since I heard the album leaks on youtube [hehe].

I had more to say on this topic and might revisit my dear Kanye but I have to go talk about the trifiling ways of Coach...yes I called Coach trifiling.

-_-

"People hate me because I am pretty."

Folks actually say this bullshit and believe that it is the truth.
-_-

No I hate you because you are a cocky, superficial moron with no more brain cells than a damn stuffed animal. Your bitch ass just happens to be good looking. I like good looking people, just not you. Uttering that statement alone should send up a red flag to you and everyone around you. Can you really find nothing wrong with yourself so you say "well gee it must be because I'm pretty" NO! NO IT IS NOT! Its because ur ugly on the inside you bald headed george of the jungle twit. How can you say such a thing with a straight face and really believe that it is the truth. That alone shows that you have more than a few screws loose up there.

Ugh stupid people.

Well Everybody is Talking About it...

I personally am over it but over the Grammy weekend, my boo Chris Brown was wanted by the five-oh for alleged domestic violence and threats. He turned himself in and the media ran with the story. I, for one, am annoyed by this topic, I wish it would go away but as a good Chris Brown fan I guess I have to say something. So I shall do my normal list and speech ish...

1) I will continue to be Chris Brown's fan.

Why should I stop? I still love Michael Jackson and they accused the poor man of diddling little kids. I still rock with R. Kelly and his old ass pissed on a 15 year old girl. So I will ride out with Chris. I don't condone domestic abuse but I don't he hit her out of some "I'm the big strong man, your the little woman, let me whoop your ass because I am insecure and I have a little penis", he hit her out of anger. She probably provoked him and he was like you know what I'm hit your ass for throwing the keys, for a lambo that I do not own, out of the window. Even my mother said if she was a dude she would have smacked her girl. Now if Rihanna had busted Chris in the face how many of you would stop being her fan? People would laugh at him and give her props. There is a double standard in everything. No matter what even if I am the only one blasting CB out of my ipod earphones, I will continue with my head held high. In fact, I am listening to him right now. I feel bad for Chris because the media is seriously demonizing him and his career for the moment is fxcked. He shouldn't have let it come to the point where he hit her but people screw up...no lie I hope Rihanna got at least one hit in tho 'cause I woulda hit his ass back lol.

2) Rihanna.

I admit secretly I like the chick, I like her style [well the stylist who dresses her] and her music has been on my ipod since she first came out. And she is a caribbean girl and she is doing it big since there aren't a lot of us out there. I just think that in pictures she looks mean and she didn't match well with Chris, which evidently proved correct. To me there was too much in that relationship, they were both on top of the music world and I felt that they would bump heads. I do feel sorry for her in this situation because no one deserves to get hit, man or woman. I can't imagine what she is going through but I wish the best for her because I know this is a very hard time for her. She will bounce back, she has a lot of moxy in her step.

3) The media is trash.

Who in the blue hell are these sources? If people believe everything the sources say then Beyonce should have had 12 kids by now, Janet should have had 2 with a secret teenage daughter in Arizona, and Jay-Z would be in the slammer for all his domestic abuse rumors [that's right Hov, we heard about your deeds too]. I only believe the articles I read where Rihanna's father comments on the situation and where Chris' father, aunt, and sister comment on the situation because those are relatives and they have no reason to lie on either of them. I'd also like to see some pictures because it sounds like Chris did a number on home girl and I kinda wanna see just how bad it got. I'm a curious lil thing thass all. Either way I do not believe any of the crap that TMZ or Medaitakeout had posted on their sites because no one knows what happened except for Chris, Rihanna, and God. And shame on mediatakeout for trying to get "past jumpoffs" of Chris Brown to send them their pictures and stories. I have heard of low but they are at the bottom. This is a serious situation and they are really digging through his business trying to make him seem like a cheating-woman beating-man whore. That is disgusting. BOO @ mediatakeout and their bullshit.

4) Shut the hell up already.

Chris, Rihanna, and their reps need to release statements already because all people really want is the truth.

*update* There has been an official statement released on Chris' behalf and I do approve of it. I would post it here but instead I shall give you the link to my favorite cb site:

My heart goes out to both Chris & Rihanna

Why do I kinda miss them being together? lol

Don't Get Excited.

That title was chose for two reasons:

1) It's the weekend and I have found some down time to blog so if I do like a million [a milli a milli a milli a milli] posts tonight/this morning it is because junior year has taken a break. smh.

2) This topic isn't exactly fun but hell I feel like pontificating! Hehe you like that word right? Word, son, word.

The topic for this post is *drum rolls*

RACISM! *crowd cheers*

Aren't you excited?

Well I found this blog on wordpress that is no longer running [which I am a little upset about btw] that has my brain working. The blog in general is hilarious and so was this post but the topic is serious.

The blogger started out with subtle racism so I will begin with that. There is nothing I hate more than subtle racism...like nothing. How can you be friends with me but not like me? Paradox much? Maybe just a little. My first indication of subtle racism occured when I was 7 or 8 running up and down Rockaway Parkway in summer bliss and my friend Stephon came and told me a story. He had asked the resident Puerto Rican if she wanted to be his girlfriend and her reply was: "Sorry I can't date you because you're black". DISCLAIMER RIGHT QUICK:: Stephon was about 15 or 16. We were friends because the block was close and I was a bomb ass youngin who could roll with the big dogs. ANDD his mom was my landlord and my mom taught him when he was younger so we kinda have a binding to friendship in a way:: EN-TEE-WAYS! I was simply shocked by that statement. In my little 8 year old mind I was wondering how can this girl be our friend and not want to be the girlfriend of one of us. As I got older and began reading & watching documentaries with my mother, I realized that there is a lot of that going on. Black people are good enough to be friends in certain cultures but once it is time for relationship status we are the 'untouchables'but whites are accepted. Indians, Asian, Hispanic, White, hell even some moronic ass Black folk are guilty. The latter say it is because of their parent's traditional views but some use that as a cover. Black folk who live by this 'black get back' lifestyle state it as blunt as it can be "I want my children to have lighter skin and good hair". If you are naturally attracted to lighter skinned people, there is no problem. If you are simply not attracted to black people, go right ahead. The thing that makes my blood boil is that people honestly will spaz if their child or grandchild is involved with a black person. Indians, however, I will never understand because they are not exactly light bright themdamnselves! Hispanics are another group I will never understand. Blacks and Hispanics are grouped so much in life and yet some will never date a black person because "oh he/she is too black", "I don't want some napps in my baby hair", oh and my favorite "my grandmother will kill me if I bring a black person home". The last point may be true but I have found out that some people use that as a cover for their own bigotry. Just say "It's because you are black" and I will be fine. I don't know where I went with this section because I did just rant and lose my train of thought but whatever. Anyway, black people with this sentiment...unless they are truly attracted to whites, asians, hispanics, etc....I believe are the stupidest people in the world. This leads me into my next topic: internal racism.

Part One: Light Bright vs The Darkie

"I don't date dark chicks/guys!"

"Oh you know the light skinned girl always win"

"I would take you because you aren't as dark as she is"

"Dark skinned girls are ugly"

"I want my kids to be light with good hair"

An interesting one::

"I don't want my kids to be as light as me"

OH and my personal favorite ::

"You're pretty for a dark girl"

THE FXCKING END.

Okay I lied, this pisses me off more than anything else in the world.

All those are things I have heard in my presence or have been said to my face. It really irks me because although I may not be as dark or as light as the next person this should never be phrases uttered by anyone in the black community. Why you ask? Because it is bad enough that literally EVERY SINGLE RACE on the earth can't stand us, why must we do it to ourselves?

Phrase #1: "I don't date dark chicks/guys"

Okay I am fine with it but the curious person that I am would like an explaination from you light or dark...I end up regreting that later on . That sentence is usually followed by some ignorant statements that makes me want to skin that fool right then and there. One thing that irks me is that the darkest person would be like "He/She is too dark for me"...are you serious? You have the same skin tone, hell half the time the girl is lighter than that person! It's like how can you discriminate against who looks like you but get mad when the light skinner girl/boy shuts you down because you are too dark for them, which is equally wrong. Doesn't feel nice to have a taste of your own medecine huh? I personally don't care if you don't want me because I am too dark for you, there are plenty of others who do.

Phrase #2: "You know the lighter skinned girl always wins"

So the fxck what if she does? You're dumbass is probably why. My mother has told me from the beginning that the world is baised when it comes to the light skinned girl and that dark skinned girl. In fifth grade she told me straight up "Kianna may have it easier in life because she is lighter than you. Boys may fawn over her and hell she may even get a job just because she is lighter than you but never, ever let that stop you from doing what you want in life. You may have to work harder but in the end that hard work will pay off. You are smarter, more beautiful, and have the ablities and more to progress further in this world and don't let anyone tell you otherwise". Those words have stuck with me and though some may find them unfitting to tell a child, she was telling me the truth. My mother is light skinned herself. I see things like this happen all the time but because my mother has conditioned me from a young age it really doesn't phase me until it is shoved in my face. When this fool I know had the nerve to say "Well you know the lighter skinned girl always wins" I had a mind to knock him out. Once again this bastard was not light bright himdamnself and he is one of those "I don't date girls darker than me, the lighter girl is always beautiful even if she looks like a dog" fxckers. If a light skinned person had told me that I would have been equally upset because it is mindsets like that, that allow the lighter girl to win. She could be dumb as a rock, look like a dinosaur foot and yet she will win simply because she is lighter. Now I am not saying that goes for every light skinned girl because I know some gorgeous and intelligent light females [my momma is one] but the mindset of the "lighter girl always wins" is crippling. Even without my mother bringing it to my attention in fifth grade [I had a problem with my light skinned bestie at the time] I would have been exposed to this later on in life and I think I would have made me insecure. "She is lighter than you" So is that piece of bread, what's your point? I may have to work harder but I know that my work is not in vain. Ugh once again I may have contradicted myself but idc stfu lol.

Phrase #3: "Dark skinned girls are ugly"

I then proceed to ask why like a dummy and I get "Because they are. Her skin is too dark. Look at her!". I've heard males and females say this [females about both dark skinned males & females] and it still confuses me. I think Alek Wek is beautiful, her smile, her smooth skin, and chocolate tone are just amazing to me. Others, however, see her dark skin and say she is ugly without looking at her features. If you think this way about a person who is of a darker skin tone then wtf do you think about me? Do you think I am ugly? Which leads me to one of my favorites...

Phrase#4: "You're pretty for a dark girl"

...And all you other cat throwing shots at dark girls, you only get half a bar- Fuck yall niggas.

[I'm listening to Takeover so hush lol]. My reply? "You sure are hideous for a light person" *smiles and walks away*.

Phrase #5: "I want my kids to be light with good hair"
What is so good about being light skinned with good hair? What the fxck is good hair??? HAIR IS DEAD CELLS!!! AIN'T SHIT GOOD ABOUT YOUR CELLS DYING! Apparently they want their child to have an easier life. I don't know about you but being a mocha chocolate sista myself with "bad" hair...life seems pretty nice so far.

Phrase #6: "I don't want my kids to be as light as me"
Now that one threw me. I had to admit I felt a lil happy to hear for once someone doesn't have a problem with dark skinned people. I have heard the "I want chocolate babies" from darker females but not from a male. I just found that interesting.

Well I have many other topics on my mind.
I started this nights ago and I don't feel like talking about it anymore.
lol
for a skinny heifer I get bored easily, leave me be.

There Is Homework To Be Done But...I'll Finish It Later

Alright I have been slacking this entire week. It has been a serious while since I've blogged and I feel a lil sad [just a lil cuz this slim thugg is trying to "thugg" her way into college, ya digg??? [lmao @ that phrase]]. Anyway as I was going through some gossip sites, I stumbled upon a story on mediatakeout about Rihanna's fingernail *blank stare*. It is a known fact that I am not fond of this chick, I like her music just not her but I clicked that link to see what the hell they had to say about her now [don't know why I did but oh well]. Well this time it was about her fingernail. She has an Obama pic on her pinky and it is cute I must say. What my issue is that they were praising her for it but during the campaign time when pictures surfaced of "regular" people doing that to their nails ["regular" meaning the non famous and fabulous] they called it ghetto and hood. Even the people who commented on the story called it ghetto but a few of them changed their minds this time talking about "Oh thats cute, I wanna get mine done". Ugh it makes me sick to see people change their ways just because some celebrity did something. If it was hood to you before she did it, it should still be hood to you now. I never thought it was hood, I thought it was great because you know I love the oh so amazing one but I never did it because I'm broke as hell and skinny bxtches gotta eat. Anyway I have an english paper to go bang out so I'll be back around 4 am.

peeshhhh.
